Private Dentistry Awards 2022
We are delighted and humbled to have won two Awards at this year’s Private Dentistry Awards: Best Referral Practice – North, and Best Patient Care – Scotland and Northern Ireland
On Friday 4 November, Vermilion’s Practice Principal Dr David Offord, General Manager Kay MacMillan and team travelled to London’s Park Plaza Westminster Bridge to attend the Private Dentistry Awards 2022. Nominated in three categories: Best Patient Care, Best Referral Practice and Best Team, this attendance was the first at the Awards for Vermilion.
A spectacular event, the room was filled with over 1,000 esteemed colleagues, all nominated in their own categories and recognised for their expertise and dedication to the provision of excellent dental care across the UK.
Best Referral Practice
Vermilion – The Smile Experts was established in 2011; a private referral-only dental practice where colleagues refer their patients for multi-disciplinary specialist treatment. Working in collaboration with the patient’s General Dental Practitioner (GDP), specialist treatment is completed before the patient returns to their GDP for their regular dental care.
This collaboration between referring dentists and the team at Vermilion has been the key to Vermilion’s ongoing success. To be winners in this category is a source of great pride for all the clinicians, nurses and administrative staff at Vermilion. Practice Principal, Dr David Offord commented:
“Vermilion’s commitment to supporting our referring dentists goes back to our opening year. We thoroughly enjoy working with our colleagues across East Central Scotland, the Borders, Berwickshire and Northumberland to deliver excellent patient care and multi-disciplinary treatments.
“Without the trust that Vermilion’s referring colleagues place in the team, this Award would not have been possible. This win is very much theirs as it is ours. To our colleagues – thank you once again for your unwavering support these last 11 years.”
Best Patient Care
Patient care is centric to everything that Vermilion does, as we strive to deliver consistent clinical excellence with outstanding service: where communication with dentists and patients is first class. Dr Offord said of this achievement:
