Join us for our last CPD of 2024 on Thursday 28th November at our Edinburgh clinic, 24 St Johns Rd, Edinburgh.
We are inviting dentists to join us for an informal study club on Prosthodontics and Implant – Based Therapy all while earning two hours of free, verifiable CPD and enjoying some fabulous Greek food!
The CPD will be led by Dr Steve Siovas, practice limited to Prosthodontics and Implant-based Therapy, co-presenting with Dr David Offord, Specialist in Oral Surgery.
They will discuss how implant-based therapy at Vermilion has progressed through the years from the analogue to fully digital. Dr Siovas’ presentation will introduce an innovative approach to implant-based therapy, taking advantage of digital technologies and 3D printing capabilities at Vermilion clinics.
Vermilion is the first clinic in the UK that has implemented the synergy between the TRI Matrix implant system and Sprintray 3D printer technology!
The evening will allow time for practical demonstration of the TRI Matrix implant system and Dr Siovas along with Dr Offord will share Vermilion’s pioneering approach and the latest developments in digital implantology.
The event will be structured as follows:
– 6.00 -6.45: We will enjoy some fabulous Greek food, while relaxing and unwinding with fellow dentists and some members of our Vermilion team in Edinburgh.
– 6.45 – 7.30: Implant based Therapy then and now!

- What we mostly do now
- Introduction to TRI Matrix system and Sprintray 3D technology; advantages of the collaboration of the two systems
– 7.45 – 8.30:
- Practical demonstration of the TRI Matrix system on models
– 8.30 – 8.55: Case discussion, Q&A and close.
