Join us at our Oral Surgery Skills Workshop bringing together three of our highly experienced oral surgery clinicians – Dr David Offord, Dr Fiona Wright and Dr Stuart McLaren for a focused workshop of practical learning designed specifically for general dental practitioners. 

This small-group course prioritises hands-on skill development, practical techniques and clinical confidence so you can approach extractions in everyday practice with greater certainty and confidence. 

Places are limited to ensure one-to-one coaching and personalised guidance during practical sessions. 

What you will learn  

• Essential dental anatomy refresher for safe and predictable extractions 

• Core extraction techniques: tooth sectioning, flap elevation, bone removal, root elevation, socket debridement, suturing and post-operative care 

• Oral surgery instruments: the essential equipment every clinician should have and know how to use 

• Hands-on practical sessions: flap design, suturing techniques and equipment handling 

• Clinical considerations and career development: pharmacology, introduction to IV sedation at Vermilion, and the CGDent pathway to Certified Practitioner in Oral Surgery
