Treatment Options

Composite Fillings (White Fillings)

At our dental practice, we utilise composite fillings to repair damaged teeth, offering a natural-looking solution that preserves more of your tooth’s structure. By bonding directly to the tooth, these fillings offer both durability and aesthetic appeal, enhancing your smile while maintaining dental health.

Inlays/Onlays

Our inlays and onlays, crafted from high-quality porcelain, restore teeth with precision and strength. Through our two-appointment process, we customise each restoration to fit seamlessly into your smile, providing long-lasting results that blend seamlessly with your natural teeth.

Veneers

With veneers, we enhance the appearance of your teeth while preserving their structure. Our minimally invasive approach ensures minimal tooth preparation, allowing for a comfortable experience and stunning aesthetic improvements. Whether addressing shape, colour or alignment issues, our veneers offer transformative results tailored to your unique smile.

Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment at Vermilion is a process aimed at saving your natural tooth. This procedure removes infection and restores dental health with precision and care. Through our specialised approach, we alleviate discomfort and preserve your smile for years to come.

Crowns, Bridges and Dentures

Our restorative solutions, including crowns, bridges and dentures, are customised to restore both function and aesthetics to your smile. From protecting weakened teeth to replacing missing ones, our comprehensive approach ensures optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction. With options ranging from tooth-coloured porcelain to secure implant-supported restorations, we provide personalised solutions for a healthy, confident smile.

Dental Implants

We also offer dental implants to replace missing teeth with a durable and natural-looking solution. Dental implants not only restore your smile’s appearance but also provide stability and functionality similar to natural teeth. Through our precise implant placement process, we ensure a comfortable experience and long-lasting results, allowing you to enjoy a confident smile and improved oral health.

What Our Patients Say...

Fiona’s Story

I was referred to Vermilion by my GDP after presenting with periimplantitis and periodontitis. My teeth at the time were loose and had started to fall out. As a result, I had a restricted diet and, socially, this had really started to impact my life.

The treatment I received at Vermilion has given me my confidence when eating out, and I can now eat all of the foods that I previously couldn’t. Aesthetically, my teeth look much better than they did previously!

Restorative Dentistry FAQs

Restorative dentistry encompasses repairing or replacing damaged or missing teeth to restore oral health, function and aesthetics. This includes treatments such as fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures and dental implants, all aimed at enhancing both the appearance and functionality of your smile.

Patients with damaged, decayed or missing teeth can benefit from restorative dentistry. Whether you have cavities, cracked teeth or tooth loss due to injury or decay, restorative dentistry at Vermilion’s dental practice can help restore your smile and oral health.

While both restorative and cosmetic dentistry aim to improve the appearance of the teeth, they have different focuses. Restorative dentistry primarily focuses on repairing or replacing damaged teeth for functional purposes, while cosmetic dentistry focuses on enhancing the aesthetics of the teeth through procedures like teeth whitening, veneers and gum reshaping.

Restorative dentistry offers several benefits, including:

  • Restoring oral health and function.
  • Enhancing the appearance of the smile.
  • Preventing further damage or decay.
  • Improving chewing and speaking abilities.
  • Boosting self-confidence and overall quality of life.

A composite filling, also known as a white filling, is a tooth-coloured restoration used to repair teeth damaged by decay or trauma. Made of a mixture of plastic and fine glass particles, composite fillings blend seamlessly with natural teeth, providing both strength and aesthetic appeal.

Restorative dental treatments that may require dental surgery include procedures such as dental implant placement, root canal therapy and some types of gum disease treatments like periodontal surgery. These procedures often involve minor surgical interventions to restore or repair teeth, gums, or supporting structures within the mouth.
