Vermilion is currently expanding across two floors, and adding an additional five surgeries, so we are looking for a capable, enthusiastic and talented Dental Nurse to work in our specialist clinic in Edinburgh. Vermilion is an award-winning, private dental referral clinic offering its patients multi-disciplinary care, and brings together orthodontics, periodontology, endodontics, restorative dentistry and oral surgery under one roof.

Please note that you must have the relevant experience and be GDC registered to be considered for the role.
Responsibilities
- Use all equipment and machinery in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations and ensure that they are maintained regularly and in good working order
- Keep the clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy and sterile as appropriate according to the Clinic’s health and safety and infection control procedures and manufacturers’ instructions
- Provide chairside assistance, ensuring that the correct equipment is available
- Ensure the care and welfare of patients
- Accurately complete patient clinical records as directed
- Handle all substances in accordance with health and safety policies
- Be familiar and comply with all health and safety rules and guidance, including PPE
- Complete laboratory request forms, keep records of work sent, received and fitted
- Ensure adequate stocks of materials and other items within the surgery
- Duties include dealing with patients, booking appointments and other administration duties
