Throughout the year, we host a variety of CPD events led by our Vermilion specialists and clinicians and open to all our referring dental colleagues to express our gratitude for the continued patient referrals.

We are also proud participants of the Biennial Symposium, a spectacular event that sees a number of our dental colleagues come together for a full day of free and verified CPD learning. The next one will be on Friday, October 3rd 2025 and is open to all dental professionals. This is an unique opportunity for dentists to engage with our team and discuss key industry topics. Our free, verifiable CPD program runs annually, covering all topics outlined by the GDC. These events are typically held at our Edinburgh clinic on 24 St. John’s Road, with each session led by our expert team of specialists and clinicians. We have designed the program to be both engaging and interactive, offering a relaxed and informal atmosphere, complemented by a delicious dinner.

Each year, we host a major Open Day and CPD event at our Kelso clinic, located at Pinnaclehill Industrial Estate. This year, the Open Day will take place on Saturday, 31 May 2025. We are also excited to offer a series of exclusive webinars focusing on oral surgery and endodontics, specially designed exclusively for our referring dentists in the Scottish Borders. Vermilion CPD – Curry Club Programme 2025/

Following the success of 2024 CPD – Curry Club programme, we decided to continue the format in 2025, adding some more sessions and making the events even more exclusive and engaging.

If you are a referring dentists and would like to register to our events, please make sure you created an account on our ‘My Vermilion’ portal, a space dedicated to our referring network.

Checkout the agenda and join Vermilion clinicians for an informal study club, accompanied by some nice music and a delicious curry dinner, all while earning 90 minutes of free, verifiable CPD. The program is split into five sessions throughout the year, each dedicated to a specific topic:

Thurs 30 January: Live implant surgery with Dr Stuart McLaren, Dental Implant Surgeon, and Dr David Offord, Practice Principal and Specialist in Oral Surgery.
Thurs 27 February: Orthodontics with Dr Chris Jordan, Practice limited to Orthodontics.
Thurs 27 March: Implant prosthodontics with Dr Noland Naidoo, Practice limited to Prosthodontics and Endodontics.
Thurs 24 April: Hygienist night with our hygienist team Michaela Zilinska, Debbie McKenzie and Jennifer White.
Thurs 29 May: Periodontics with Dr Jackie Davidson, Practice limited to Periodontics.
Thurs 25 September: Prosthodontics with Dr Photini Papacharalambous, Specialist in Prosthodontics.
Fri 3 October: Vermilion Symposium.
Thurs 27 November: Implant prosthodontics with Dr Steve Siovas, Practice limited to Prosthodontics and Implant Based Therapy.
