We have a vacancy for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our fantastic team of highly experienced clinicians and nurses, who are on hand to support the success of a new Apprentice Dental Nurse in gaining experience and achieve their goals. About the Role
Vermilion is looking for a capable, enthusiastic and talented individual to join the team as a Trainee Dental Nurse at its clinic in Kelso.
In this role, on-the-job training will be provided in house and will see you be mentored by your dental nurse colleagues and clinicians, giving you lots of exposure to all elements of dentistry to enable you to qualify. The vacancy is full-time, 34 hours a week.
The successful Apprentice Dental Nurse MUST be:
- A team player
- Adaptable and flexible
- Willing to learn and have a growth mindset
- Hardworking
- Age 16 – 24
The candidate must have three qualifications at SCQF level 4 or equivalent (National 4/Standard Grades at general or above) in English, Maths and a science subject or equivalent. Experience in customer service would be an advantage. Successful completion of the NHS Education for Scotland DN Induction Programme.
